"Sacrifice I" | I mean....wow! The first of the two-parter season finalé to Xena and it was excellent. Callisto is back and witht he cacooned Hope. Ares ends up becoming Hope's servant and Gabrielle once again save's Hope.Serraphin, Gabby's friend played an excellent sacrifice and this epsiode was as controversial as they come. It actually gave me goosebumps when Hope emerges from the cacoon and looks just like Gabby, it was freaky..I could not wait till part 2! |
"Vanishing Act" | This episode was another Autoclyus episode, but I had to admit I loved it. The "jewish" Xena was extremely humerous I mean "dah-ling!".Gabrielle was funny as well and this episode was another usual Xena episode. It seems Autoclyus is also becoming a huge part of Xena's life lately and that should prove quiet interesting indeed. |
"Tsunami" | I especially liked this episode, it was very controversial and interesting...I loved how the ending and the idea was superb..But, I had to say that it looked a lot better as a preview...The episode would be considered a normal episode for Xena standards and Autoclyus was good to have around as well.. |
"Fins, Femmes. and Gems" | This episode was alright...Xena was extremely funny with the fishing thing. And that Gabby was one side I never want to see again.Joxer was funny as usual and Aphrodite had her usual quirks....Overall, it was an alright Episode. |
"Forget me Not.." | This was a pretty cool episode because it was a main focus on Gabrielle, and explained a lot, like how Gabrielle got to the land of Chin before Xena and stuff. I also liked all the clips from the other episodes of Gabby's past. Joxer played a funny role with the "dumb" Gabby which was pretty weird, but Gabrielle played a pretty scary role in this too when she went after Ares annd this episode ended the "Gabrielle Sins" that has been the main focus of the episodes lately. |
"When in Rome.... | This episode had to be a one of my favorites, Ceaser played a spectacular role, and Xena was a true schemer in this one. The story line was excellent and very surprising, especially when Gabrielle actually caused the death of the roman emperor. But, my favorite part of the episode was when Xena was in the colloseum, and she looked like she was not going to make it, when suddenly the fighting music popped on, and with a fantastic moves, she did it and definitly shut Ceaser up. And the ending was great, and this will also be a door for more Ceaser episodes to start opening up |
"King Con" | I liked this episode review for one reason:it was original. I liked the two charactes of Rhaif and his partner. It was interesting and the part with Titus and the Con was interesting. When Rhaif's partner refered to Xena as an amateur, it made me a little confused. Usually, Xena knows more than anyone but for this one, she was a little outwitted. I thought the love scene with Rhaif and Xena was especially peculiar. Gabrielle portrayed her usual humor when she thought she knew everything about Xena. I thought this show was cool and funny, and it also showed Xena's seriousness is starting to cool off. |
"Forgiven" | This show had an excellent story line, the fighting was a little overwack, but it was cool. Tara the Xena wanna-be was pretty cool, and the part when she bit Gabby's ear(so Mike Tysish), was really cool. The ending was good, but when Xena did not get forgiven was really eerie. I can't wait to see what future episodes will be like. |
"One against an Army" | I had to admit, the action and effects in this episode were fantastic. Xena was fully alive, and the emotion with Gabrielle's illness was great. The show of their friendship really proves that "the rift" that was formed is starting to break apart and Xena and Gabby are beginning to return back to normal. As usual the comedy was funny, but the strange thing is Gabby is starting to learn how to fight when she showed how to flip. This may prove that in the future she may become a great warrior and this can change the way of Gabrielle and the figure she is trying to portray, only future episodes will tell.
